How is unfair dismissal determined?

A dismissal may be unfair not only because it was unjustified, but for any number of other reasons, including, for example, an unreasonably short period of notice. It is important to seek legal advice as soon as possible after dismissal because, in most cases, claims must be filed within 21 days in the Industrial Commission.
